Hammermühle is an officially named part of the municipality of Tiefenbach in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham in Bavaria . The district is listed in the official register of places from 1991 as structurally connected with the municipality capital Tiefenbach. The same note can already be found in the previous directory with data status 1970. Before that, the district was subsumed under Hammertiefenbach for decades until it was also considered structurally connected to Tiefenbach.

Geographical location

Hammermühle is 1 km east of Tiefenbach north of the state road 2154 from Tiefenbach to Treffelstein on the bridge over the Bavarian Schwarzach . It is located across from Hammertiefenbach .

history

When the hammer mill was founded is unknown. In the Lower Bavarian Salbuch three mills in Tiefenbach were mentioned in 1280, but it is not certain that the hammer mill was one of them. For several hundred years the hammer mill belonged to the Vogl family, who also operated a saw there. On March 23, 1913 (Easter) Hammermühle is listed with 1 house and 16 residents.
