history

In the geographic lexicon of 1802 the place is described as follows: “Pleikershof, Pleikartshof, also Leikershof. Reichsstadt Rothenburgischer place of 2 courtyards within Rothenburgischer Landwehre, half an hour before the city, against Leutershausen. The place is parish to Kirnberg and pays the tithe to the Comburg monastery . Rothenburg bought the place with other goods from Hector von Heßberg in 1605. 12 services are performed and 2 wagons are provided. Not far from the place is a lake called Altsee. "

With the community edict (early 19th century), Pleikartshof was assigned to the Gebsattel tax district and the Kirnberg rural community . In the course of the regional reform , this was incorporated into Gebsattel on January 1, 1972.
