Wildenhof is a district of the Gebsattel community in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Wildenhofer Bach flows through the hamlet , which is a right tributary of the Kirnberger Mühlbach , which in turn is a right tributary of the Tauber . The place is surrounded by wooded hills in the north, east and south. A community road leads to State Road 2249 (0.7 km west), which runs to Schönbronn (3.5 km south-east) or to Kirnberg (0.3 km north-west).

history

Originally the place was owned by Ulrich von Wildenhof , who handed it over to Hans Lösch in 1383. In the period that followed, the owner often changed until finally, in 1605, the farm came into the possession of private individuals in Rothenburg.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Wildenhof was assigned to the Gebsattel tax district and the Kirnberg rural community . As part of the regional reform , Wildenhof was incorporated into Gebsattel on January 1, 1972.
