history

2013 reconstructed border stone from 1804 at the Speierhofer Dreiländereck between the Prussian Principality of Ansbach , marked by "PG = Prussian Territory" and the Hohenzollern coat of arms, the imperial city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber , which is currently being mediatized , marked by the city arms (right) and a " R "on the back, as well as the Principality of Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst , marked by" HG = Hohenlohisches Territory "(on the back)

Originally the place was owned by the Lords of Kirnberg , who eventually bequeathed it to Herold Rain and Ulrich Lösch. They sold the farm to Heinrich Doppler in 1384. In the following years, the owner often changed. Hektor von Heßberg finally sold in 1605 a. a. also the Speierhof to the imperial city of Rothenburg .

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1608, Speierhof consists of two courtyards that were subordinate to the imperial city of Rothenburg. The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg . In 1617, the imperial city of Rothenburg was also granted the high court, but this was disputed by Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst . In 1710 they were given the High Court by contract.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Speierhof was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Gastenfelden . In 1840 at the latest, the place was re- municipalityed to Kirnberg . On January 1, 1972, the place was incorporated into Gebsattel as part of the regional reform .
