Reviews

The Lexicon of International Films describes the film as “a film adaptation of the legendary comic in the style of fairground attractions. Although she tries to be faithful to the original, she thoroughly drives the template out of its charm through fleetingness, puns and anachronisms. "

The magazine Cinema writes that the film could "inspire only die-hard fantasy fans despite the magnificent equipment."
