The PFH - Private University of Applied Sciences or PFH - Private University of Applied Sciences is a private and state-recognized university of applied sciences with locations in Göttingen and Stade , which offers both face-to-face and distance learning courses.

University

The university has been a private university of applied sciences since it was founded in 1994. In 1995 the company was started after the state approval. The founding president was Wolfgang Lücke . He was followed from 1999 to 2014 by Bernt RA Sierke . The first face-to-face courses were business administration and business informatics. In 2006, with the conversion of the courses to the Bachelor and Master degrees, the General Management and Business Information Systems programs followed, later the Composites and Adaptronics programs, as well as Healthcare Technology and Business Information Systems. The distance learning courses offered are business administration (Bachelor, Master, MBA), psychology and business psychology (Bachelor, Master), industrial engineering (Bachelor) and business law (Master).

The Management & Technologie Akademie GmbH (mtec Academy) was founded at the PFH in 1999 . This offers training seminars for specialists and managers.

The university management consists of Frank Albe (President) and the Vice-Presidents Joachim Ahrens, Antje-Britta Mörstedt and Wilm F. Unckenbold. Axel Dreyer is the chairman of the scientific advisory board . The university is supported by a board of trustees with partners from business and industry.

The main location of the university is Göttingen ; The Stade location was set up in 2006 and the Berlin location in 2010 . There are also distance learning centers in Germany and Austria.
