The Röhrbach is a 3.3 km long orographic left tributary of the Reiherbach in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

River course

The Röhrbach rises west of the Bielefeld district of Windflöte on the edge of the Reiherbach and Röhrbach nature reserve and flows in a south-westerly direction following the flattening of the Teutoburg Forest . After the stream has flowed through the protected area consisting of wet meadows and deciduous forest, it leaves the Bielefeld city area and enters the district of the city of Gütersloh , whose district of Friedrichsdorf it touches in the north. In a section around 250 meters long, it also forms the district boundary there.

Between Friedrichsdorf and Avenwedde , the water then leads through typical parkland and flows north of Avenwedde into the Reiherbach . The Röhrbach overcomes a height difference of 10 meters during its course of flow, resulting in an average bed gradient of 3.0 ‰.
