Radosław Galant (born November 10, 1990 in Krynica-Zdrój ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with GKS Tychy in the Ekstraliga since 2009 .

Career

Club

Radosław Galant, who comes from the youth department of KTH Krynica , switched to the youth academy of the Polish ice hockey association Szkoła Mistrzostwa Sportowego at the age of 16 , for which he competed in the second-class I league . After three years in Sosnowiec , he moved to the Ekstraliga for GKS Tychy , for whom he has played since then. With the Silesians he won the Polish Ice Hockey Cup in his first season there with a 4-2 final win against Naprzód Janów . He was able to repeat this success in 2015 when he also won the second Polish championship title in the club's history with his club . In 2018 he also won a double with the Silesians.

International

For Poland, Galant took part in the junior division in Division I of the U18 World Championships in 2007 and 2008 as well as the U20 World Championships in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 .

He made his debut in the men's national team in two friendly matches in the 2011/12 season. At the 2013 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 World Championships , he was on the ice for his home country in Division I. He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
