Career

General

Rafael is one of the best goalkeepers in Brazil. In his youth he played for Brazil's U-20 national team.

At his current club, he went through all youth teams and was appointed to the youth national teams at an early age. Since the 2013 season he has occasionally replaced the goalkeeper Fábio . After his injury in the 2016 season , he replaced him until the end of the season. In the 2017 season, Rafael made his first appearance at an internal club level. In the Copa Sudamericana 2017 .
