On July 25, 1881, 75 residents from Tretzendorf - Trossenfurt founded a savings and loan association according to the cooperative principles of self-help, self-responsibility and self-administration. The Raiffeisenbank Haßfurt eG emerged from many small, regional savings associations in 1966 , and later from 1997 the Raiffeisenbank Haßfurt- Eltmann eG. After a merger with Raiffeisen-Volksbank Hofheim eG, Raiffeisen-Volksbank Haßberge eG was created in 2000 .
