Okrug Rasina ( Serbian Расински округ, Rasinski okrug ) is an administrative district in central Serbia .

According to the 2002 census, this district has a population of 259,441. The main administrative seat is the city of Kruševac .

There are many historical sites in the vicinity of Kruševac , e. B. “Lazars Stadt” and the church Lazarica, some of which are very well preserved and represent the medieval Serbian architecture. Lazarica Church was built in 1376 on the occasion of the birth of Lazar Hrebeljanović's son Stefan . The construction of this church was the prototype of the Moravska school.

The Donjon Tower (Donjon Kula) is a medieval military fortress. The Ljubostinja was of Princess Milica, Lazar's wife in the late 14th century, shortly after the Battle of Kosovo built and after her resignation as ruler and dedicated to the widows of the fallen in battle men. From the beginning, the monastery played an important cultural role.
