action

Lisa and her Croatian friend Hrvoje are very much in love. After only three months they move into a shared apartment and Lisa accepts the charming marriage proposal of her beloved during the housewarming party. But as happy as the couple now seems, so many problems will now arise. Hrvoje's strictly Catholic mother Darinka absolutely wants a traditional wedding in Croatia, and of course she wants to get to know Lisa's parents. And here lies the problem: your parents are nowhere near as religious and bourgeois as Darinka. They are a divorced ex-hippie couple. Lisa's mother Theresa has separated from Gerd after very crazy years of marriage and avoids him as well as contact with her daughter. Theresa also rejects Lisa's wedding plans. But because she is deeply indebted to Lisa's, she travels with Gerd to Croatia , where they audition for a loving couple.

Reviews

“Amusing (TV) love and wedding comedy. The focus is on the chaotic bride's parents who all find each other again. "

"Hübchen gives an art professor with a puckered forehead as a caricature of all art professors with puckered foreheads. He executes punch lines like a summer open-air theater provincial buffo. One batch. But without a bang, just with pouf. At his side is Suzanne von Borsody, the only worthy earthly representative of Christine Neubauer, when she's not able to. The esoteric Ayurveda oiler who greases her over the canal in a smeary comedic way finds her equal only in the figure cosmos of the Neubauerin. Of course, the Far Eastern-minded Emanze has to accompany her daughter to the wedding in Croatia, where the Degeto script smearers confirm all their prejudices about Croatia. "

“Some successful gags, in the end - as is usual for the genre - a bit too good. [...] Lighter, overall nice round fun "
