Ray Campbell

Ray Campbell (* in the 20th century in the United States ) is an American actor , by the role of Tyrus Kitt from the TV series Breaking Bad famous nationally.

Career

Ray Campbell attended Emerson College and the University of Southern California . He received improvisation lessons from Kathy Najimy and gained stage experience at the La Jolla Playhouse. Ray Campbell first appeared in front of the camera in 1996. He played a small role in the movie Night On Manhattan . This was followed by episode roles in series such as Angel - Hunter of Darkness , The District - Operation in Washington , Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten or Girlfriends , before he took on a recurring role in the series The Shield - Law of Violence from 2005 .

Campbell gained greater international fame for the role of bodyguard Tyrus Kitt in the television series Breaking Bad in 2011, for which he and the rest of the cast were nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in the category Best Acting Company in a Television Series Drama . He also took on this role from 2017 in the spin-off Better Call Saul . After that, he was also cast in films like Super Athlete . From 2015 to 2016 he took on a role as Curtis in the series For Better or Worse .
