Werner-Thorn-Flesch government

Pierre Werner was Prime Minister of Luxembourg from 1959 to 1974 and again from 1979 to 1984 .

The Werner-Thorn-Flesch government (alternative name: Werner V government ) was formed in Luxembourg on July 16, 1979 by Prime Minister Pierre Werner of the Chrëschtlech Sozial Vollekspartei (CSV) after the chamber election of June 10, 1979 . It replaced the Thorn-Vouel-Berg government and remained in office until it was replaced by the Santer-Poos I government on July 20, 1984. The government consisted of representatives of the Chrëschtlech Sozial Vollekspartei (CSV) and the Democratic Party (DP).
