Juncker-Asselborn I government

The Juncker-Asselborn I government , or alternatively the Juncker III government , was sworn in on July 31, 2004. Under the leadership of Jean-Claude Juncker, the government was based on a grand coalition of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP). After five years, the Liberal Democratic Party (DP) left the government. On February 22, 2006, Jean-Louis Schiltz took over the Ministry of Defense from Luc Frieden . The government was in office until July 23, 2009.
