Juncker-Polfer government
The Juncker-Polfer government , or alternatively the Juncker II government , was sworn in on August 7, 1999. Under the leadership of Jean-Claude Juncker, the government was based on a grand coalition of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the liberal Democratic Party (DP). The LSAP was no longer represented in the government. The Juncker II government was in office until July 31, 2004.
