Juncker-Asselborn II government
The Juncker-Asselborn II government , or alternatively the Juncker IV government , was a government of Luxembourg that was in office from July 23, 2009 to December 4, 2013.
The government was sworn in on July 23, 2009. Under the leadership of Jean-Claude Juncker, as in the five years before, it was based on a grand coalition of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) and the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party (LSAP). The LSAP withdrew its confidence in the government on July 10, 2013 because of a secret service affair, so that early elections were held on October 20, 2013 .
