Regina Hall
Regina Hall (born December 12, 1970 in Washington, DC ) is an American actress . She became known for her roles in the scary movie films.
Life
After attending high school, she studied journalism at New York University , which she successfully completed in 1997. In the same year, at the age of 26, she first appeared on television in a TV commercial. This was followed by several guest appearances in the soap opera Loving and the police series New York Undercover .
Her first movie role was 1999 with a small role in The Best Man . With this film, she managed to make a name for herself in Hollywood as a young actress. Through the roles in the successful movie Scary Movie and the sequels Scary Movie 2 , Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4 , she made herself known to a wider audience. It was followed by other film and television productions, including regular guest spots on the hit series Ally McBeal and Law - & - Order - offshoot Law & Order: LA .
In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
Regina Hall lives in Los Angeles.
