The Bernina region is an administrative unit of the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland , which was created as a result of the regional reform on January 1, 2016.
The Bernina region includes the Poschiavo and is identical to the Bernina district, which existed until December 31, 2015 . However, the districts of Brusio and Poschiavo were dissolved on December 31, 2015.
