Richard Clemens Maria Bartholomäus Bollig (born November 10, 1887 in Düren ; † January 18, 1964 there ) was honorary mayor of his home town of Düren.

The businessman Richard Bollig was a member of the Center Party until 1933 and from January 31, 1934 to 1938 he was an honorary alderman of the city of Düren.

The factory owner Richard Bollig was one of the first mayors in North Rhine-Westphalia to take office on a voluntary basis under the new municipal code of 1946. With his inauguration, there were now honorary (lord) mayors in this state in addition to upper town, city or community directors who were heads of administration. This regulation, which had been incorporated into the North German Council Constitution by the occupying power , was repealed in 1994 (with a transition period until 1999).

Bollig was elected Lord Mayor on September 30, 1946. Before that he was chairman of the CDU district association in Düren. He was re-elected on December 12, 1947. His term of office ended on November 5, 1948. Bollig remained a member of the city council and at times also chairman of the parliamentary group .

Bollig's predecessor was Ernst Hammans , his successor was Fritz Heusgen .
