European Book Prize
The European Book Prize , officially known as the Prix du livre européen , was founded in 2007 and is awarded annually. It is supported by Jacques Delors , the former President of the EU Commission, and honors works that deal with the topic of Europe and that were published in one of the 28 member states of the EU last year. The aim of the award is to promote European values and to help bring Europe closer to its citizens.
