- January 21: In the course of the conversion of the Suhrkamp Verlag into a stock corporation, it is announced that the Ströher family of entrepreneurs will join the company. Ulla Unseld-Berkéwicz will move to the supervisory board; According to the information, the majority of the shares will in future be owned jointly by the Unseld-Berkéwicz family foundation and the Ströher family, if the family foundation has a majority of the voting rights. On December 10, 2015, Unseld-Berkéwicz took over the supervisory board chairmanship of Suhrkamp Verlag AG as a final measure in the reorganization of the publishing house.
