Quotes

"I cannot photograph what I don't feel."

- McBride : 2004

“When a boy crosses my path, I stop, all my attention is focused on what he's doing. I look and look, looking for signs of life, and I am never disappointed, for nowhere is life more evident than in a boy. The boy drives me crazy because I'm not like him anymore. Life has power over me, over the boy in me, and makes him old and powerless. I am a master photographer, although actually only an amateur. "
