Richard Elgin McGarvie AC KStJ QC (born May 21, 1926 in Colac , Victoria , Australia , † May 24, 2003 in Melbourne , Victoria ) was an Australian judge and professor who was also Governor of Victoria .

Life

Richard McGarvie occurred in 1944 after the end of his school career his military service in the Royal Australian Navy and received his training as an officer aboard the HMAS Cerberus . However, it was no longer used in World War II .
