Richard Schleinitz

Georg Richard Schleinitz (born March 30, 1861 in Pillnitz ; † May 1, 1916 in Dresden ) was a German architect and university professor .

Life

As a graduate of the Dresden Art Academy, Schleinitz was the architect of numerous buildings in Saxony that are now listed buildings, and he also converted various churches. The Radebeul water tower was built in collaboration with the Dresden civil engineer Richard Müller , who developed the reinforced concrete structure of the building. At the turn of the century, Schleinitz ran the Schleinitz & Noack office with the building contractor, master carpenter Ernst Noack .

The photographer Hugo Erfurth created a portrait of Schleinitz in 1908, a portrait painting from 1909 by the painter Friedrich Heyser .
