Sichardshof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sichardshof is a deserted area in the municipality of Markt Lonnerstadt in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The former wasteland was immediately surrounded by a few ponds and otherwise by arable and grassland. A little further to the west was the wasteland of knackers . Today the Sichartsgrund ponds and the Sichartsgrund corridor to the east still remind of the place. The area now consists mainly of forest areas.

history

The place was first mentioned in the 15th century as "Sighartshof". The founder was Peter Sighart, who belonged to the Vogtland knighthood (Neustädter district). This received the land from the Principality of Kulmbach as a fief . At the end of the 18th century, its property went to the Lords of Schedlin.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties in Sichardshof (1 large yard, 1 sheep farm, 1 house, 1 wasenmeisterei ). The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office in Dachsbach , which was disputed by the Bamberg center in Höchstadt until 1796 . The sole landlord was the manor Sichardshof. The manor Sichardshof was also the landlord in Emelsdorf (1 property), Grieshof (1 property), Kästel (2 properties) and Leitsmühle (1 property).

As part of the community edict, Sichardshof was assigned to the Uehlfeld tax district, formed in 1811 . In 1813 the rural community Mailach was formed, to which the place belonged.

In 1856 the property was auctioned and broken up into 23 parts. The buildings were demolished after 1861. Obviously there was still a building that was inhabited until at least 1900 (see below). Presumably this building was the fall house.
