Robert Farnan
Robert E. Farnan (born June 11, 1877 in New York City , † January 10, 1939 there ) was an American rower .
Robert Farnan and Joseph Ryan of the Seawanhaka Boat Club from Brooklyn won the 1904 St. Louis Olympics in two-man without a helmsman , four boat lengths ahead of John Mulcahy and William Varley , the Olympic champions in double sculls .
In 1905 Farnan and Ryan won the US title in the four without a helmsman . Jamie McLoughlin , who finished second in a double scull in 1904 , also rowed in this four .
