Robert Redweik (born August 28, 1983 in Munich ) is a German pop singer , songwriter , musician , entrepreneur and lecturer .

Life

Robert Redweik was born in Munich- Schwabing . He started playing classical guitar when he was eight . He received his first singing training at the same time as part of the Tölzer Knabenchor , from which he left after a year. At the age of twelve he founded his first band Ill at ease , with which he released an EP and two studio albums on his own, played numerous concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and among other things. a. won the Emergenza Audience Award.

In 2005 he founded the band REDWEIK , whose line-up changed again and again until 2010. In 2011 Robert Redweik received a recording contract with the Warner Music Group and was signed as a songwriter with Universal Music Publishing . In the following years he worked for and with well-known artists and songwriters (including Midge Ure , Christian Neander , Udo Lindenberg , Howard Carpendale ). In 2012 he released the EP Machine with REDWEIK and toured with Stanfour and Bakkushan , among others . At the beginning of 2014 the debut album Keine Liebe was released with the singles Machine and Collecting Hearts .

Robert Redweik has been a guest on numerous television and radio shows since 2012 (including Mensch Otto auf Bayern 3 , ZDF Morgenmagazin , SWR3 latenight ) and in 2013 he moderated the web show for The Voice of Germany ( floor 7 ).

In addition, he studied chemistry and business administration at the Technical University of Munich , did a Master of Business Research and completed his doctorate in 2011 as a Dr. oec. publ. at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .

In addition to his own entrepreneurial activities, he helped set up the LMU Entrepreneurship Center and has been a lecturer at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Music and Theater in Munich since 2007 .
