Roberto Farinella (born May 24, 1968 in Castellamonte , Italy ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Biella .

Life

After attending the Istituto Tecnico Commerciale in Cuorgnè , Roberto Farinella entered the seminary of the Diocese of Ivrea in 1987 and began studying philosophy and Catholic theology at the Federazione Interreligiosa Studentati Teologici in Turin . From September 1993 to 1996 he was an alumne at the Almo Collegio Capranica in Rome . Farinella holds a degree in Canon Law from the Pontifical Gregorian University . On September 24, 1994, he received the sacrament of ordination through the Bishop of Ivrea, Luigi Bettazzi .

From 1996 to 1997 Roberto Farinella was the director of the diocesan center for vocations and youth pastoral care and as sub-rain of the seminary in Ivrea . In 1997 he became the parish administrator of the parish of San Giovanni Battista in Castellamonte.
