Rock Meets Classic is a series of concerts that has been held regularly once a year since 2010, mainly in Germany. A symphony orchestra and a band play hits from rock history. As a rule, The RMC Symphony Orchestra, specially put together for the concert series, takes on the classic part of the event. The Mat Sinner Band, a German rock band, is responsible for rock music . Mat Sinner has been the musical director and creative director of the Rock-Meets-Classic production since 2010 . Zlatko Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Alex Beyrodt & Tom Naumann on guitars ( Primal Fear ) - ( Sinner ), Moritz Müller on drums ( The Intersphere ) and singers Sascha Krebs ( The Queen Kings ) - (Sinner) and Giorgia Colleluori (Sinner).

Tour 2012

In 1992 there was a Rock Meets Classic tour for the first time. The idea for this came from Manfred Hertlein, managing director and founder of Manfred Hertlein Veranstaltungs GmbH. After an acclaimed appearance at Thomas Gottschalk's “ Wetten, dass ..? “And a sold out tour through southern Germany, Rock Meets Classic went on a 30-city tour through Germany in 1993. Rock Meets Classic differs from other productions of this type in that the songs are sung by the original artists and not only reproduced instrumentally. The accompanying orchestra, still consisting of 16 members in 1993, has been enlarged to 42 members since 2010.

In 2002 a new edition of the tour could be seen for the first time in Austria.

In 2010 the project was revived again. The event is held with an annually changing line-up.
