Rodebach is a district of Waldkappel in the Werra-Meißner district in northern Hesse .

Rodebach is located in northern Hesse west of Waldkappel in the foreland of the Hoher Meissner .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1334. In 1939 the place had 178 inhabitants. As part of the regional reform in Hesse , Rodebach came to the town of Waldkappel on October 1, 1971. Before that, the place belonged to the district of Eschwege .
