Rolf Keil

Rolf Keil (* 1955 in Klingenthal ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and since August 2015 district administrator of the Vogtland district .

Life

From December 1990 to December 1995, Keil was the head of the city of Schöneck . He then worked from January 1996 to December 2000 in the Dresden State Development Company as a project manager for infrastructure projects in Saxony. From January 2001 to January 2009 he held the office of mayor of Schöneck. From February 2009 to July 2015 he was first alderman of the Vogtlandkreis. In the district election on June 7, 2015, Keil was able to prevail in the first ballot with 56.9% of the votes against two competitors, replacing his party colleague Tassilo Lenk , who did not run again. Keil took office in August 2015.

Keil is married and has two daughters.
