Rolf Lantin

Rolf Lantin (born August 23, 1903 in Düsseldorf , † in Bad Schwalbach ) was a German photographer and son of the photographer Thomas Lantin . He was considered the best still photographer of Leni Riefenstahl's productions between 1933 and 1945.

1934-35 he photographed the statues and works recordings for the Nazi Party film Triumph of the Will , during the filming on the 1936 Summer Olympics for the Olympia-Film GmbH he shared the major project with his colleague Arthur Grimm .

In the post-war period he continued to be used as a still photographer for cinema film productions. B. were used in cinema magazines and for the cinema notice. He also portrayed celebrities of his time, for example Ewald Balser , Heinz Erhardt , Joseph Goebbels , Gertrud Kückelmann , Rudolf Platte , Luise Rainer , Laya Raki , Leni Riefenstahl, Dietmar Schönherr and Bubi Scholz .
