Meanwhile, Roberts gives himself completely to his work and falls in love with his right hand, assistant Beate. Both are totally absorbed in their job of helping sick people. Georg gradually forgets that he still has a wife. Practically she dies after her return to the marital home, so that Dr. Roberts is now even more immersed in his profession as a gynecologist. His interest in his patients goes so far that Beate now feels reset and finally realizes that he will not be there for her any more than he was for his deceased wife. Reviews

In the mirror you can read: "Rudolf Prack as a sought-after gynecologist who, thanks to two advantageous deaths, is finally allowed to exchange his disgruntled wife (Anne-Marie Blanc) for a fresher partner," the ideal doctor's wife "(Winnie Markus). The director Falk Harnack had a few supporting roles nicely cast. An original caesarean section acts as a very unseemly contribution to the cumbersome jealousy affair. "

In the lexicon of the international film it says: " Film adaptation of a magazine novel: a mixture of noble kitsch and moral standards in the style of the 50s."
