Rondae Jaquan Hollis-Jefferson (born January 3, 1995 in Chester , Pennsylvania ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA .

Career

Hollis-Jefferson attended the University of Arizona and played there for the Arizona Wildcats . After two years he signed up for the NBA draft .

In the 2015 NBA draft , Hollis-Jefferson was selected in 23rd place by the Portland Trail Blazers and then transferred to the Brooklyn Nets with Steve Blake for Mason Plumlee . He suffered an ankle injury in his rookie year and was eliminated from many games.

In his second NBA year he was a starter for the Nets and in his third year he impressed with career highs of 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds on average.
