Roschowitzdorf , Polish Roszowice , is a place in Upper Silesia in the municipality Czissek (Cisek) in the powiat Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielski in the Opole Voivodeship .

Roschowitzdorf is six kilometers south of the municipal seat of Czissek , 13 kilometers south of the district town of Kędzierzyn-Koźle (Kandrzin-Cosel) and 52 kilometers south of the voivodeship capital Opole .

The place was first mentioned in 1531 as "Rossowitze" .

In the referendum on March 20, 1921, 102 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 187 for Poland. Roschowitzdorf remained with the entire constituency of Cosel in the German Empire. In 1936 the place was renamed Graefenstein . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Cosel .

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration, was renamed Roszowice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 Roschowitzdorf became part of the Opole Voivodeship and in 1999 the re-established Powiat Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielski . On October 11, 2007 the place was given the official German place name Roschowitzdorf , in September 2008 bilingual place name signs were put up.
