Rosemarie Seehofer

Rosemarie Seehofer (born June 29, 1934 in Lauf an der Pegnitz ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Seehofer took part in several films in the 1950s . In the fairy tale film Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot (1955), a film adaptation of the fairy tale Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot , Seehofer took on one of the leading roles as Snow White. She had another film role as a farmer's dirndl Therese in the homeland film The Happy Pilgrimage (1956). In the homeland film Rot ist die Liebe (1957), she played the role of Stine, the maid for Frau Dröge.

In the 1970s, Seehofer took on episode roles in television series, especially with Bayerischer Rundfunk , such as The Strange Methods of Franz Josef Wanninger . In the 13-part television series Zwickelbach & Co. she took on a constant role as Veronika Zwickelbach .

Seehofer was mainly active as a theater actress . In the 1958/1959 season she appeared at the Munster Municipal Theaters as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in a production by Günther Fleckenstein ; her partner as Romeo was Bodo Primus . In 1961 at the Städtische Bühnen Essen she took on the role described in the cast sheet as a “young girl” in Peter Palitzsch's Woyzeck production . In 1962, she played the role of the waitress and tenant daughter Nanna in Bertolt Brecht 's parable The Round Heads and the Pointed Heads at the Hanover State Theater . She also appeared at the Bavarian State Theater in Munich . In the 1963/1964 season she played the role of the painter model Ilse in the play Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind (premiere: July 1964; Residenztheater Munich) at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel .

In the 1960s she was engaged at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . There she played in the plays Heiraten by George Bernard Shaw (1963, staging: Hans Paetsch ), We Got Away Again (1964) and After the Fall of Man by Arthur Miller (premiere: October 1964; director: Helmut Käutner , with Viktor de Kowa ). In the season 1966/1967 she appeared there in the comedy The courageous seafarer by Georg Kaiser .

In the 1970s she played theater in Berlin , among others alongside Ursula Herking in the comedy Girl for Everything Wanted by Ronald Millar (1970) and in the 1971/1972 season, alongside Gisela Uhlen and Gretl Schörg , at the Renaissance Theater in the comedy Marrying George Bernard Shaw.

Seehofer often worked as a speaker for radio plays . Here she worked in particular in productions of the Bavarian radio . Among other things, she spoke in the radio play series Meister Eder und seine Pumuckl , for example the role of the saleswoman in the Pumuckl radio play Der Wollpullover (1974).

In 1970 she was part of the cast of the radio play radio play in Munich and on Lake Starnberg by Herbert Achternbusch . At Bayerischer Rundfunk she also appeared in several radio plays by Martin Sperr , for example in hunting scenes from Lower Bavaria (1970) and Adele Spitzeder (1979). She was also one of the speakers in the radio play series The Grandauers and their time by Willy Purucker (1979 ff.).
