Rossen Stefanow ( Bulgarian Росен Стефанов ; born November 15, 1975 in Sofia ) is a former Bulgarian ice hockey player who has spent almost his entire career at HK Slavia Sofia .

Career

Rossen Stefanow played most of his career at HK Slavia Sofia , for whom he made his debut in the Bulgarian ice hockey league in 1998 . He only spent part of the 2000/01 season with İstanbul Paten SK in the Turkish Super League . In 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010 he became Bulgarian champions with the club . In 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010 he also won the cup competition .

International

In the junior division, Stefanow played at the U18-C European Championships in 1991 and 1992 and the U20-C World Championships in 1993 and 1994 .

With the Bulgarian men's national team , Stefanow initially took part in the C World Championships in 1994 , 1999 and 2000 and the D World Championships in 1996 and 1997 . After switching to the current division system, he played in Division II in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2005 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 and 2010 .
