Rudolf Höllwarth

Rudolf Höllwarth (born February 27, 1881 in Lauffen ; † 1959 ) was a German association and club official and author of travel guides .

Höllwarth was director of the State Transport Association of Württemberg-Hohenzollern from 1919 to 1939 and during this period he was the author of various publications by the association and in various publishers.

During the Nazi era , Höllwarth was a Reich Wanderführer . He was appointed on August 28, 1933 by Ferdinand Werner , the Reichsführer of the German Mountain and Hiking Clubs , against the wishes of the previous chairman, Eugen Nägele, to the office of club leader of the Swabian Alb Club . He was confirmed by the association at the general meeting in Rottweil in autumn 1933 . Höllwarth was replaced in his office in 1939 by Georg Fahrbach .
