Hans-Ulrich Rauchfuß

Hans-Ulrich Rauchfuß (born March 1, 1950 in Stuttgart ) is an official of the German migration movement .

Rauchfuß studied pharmacy in Würzburg and medicine in Ulm . After his doctorate as Dr. med. at Ulm University in 1984 he has been working as a freelance pharmacist since 1985 . From 1994 to 2009 he owned the Hirsch pharmacy in Wernau , and since 2006 he has owned the anemone pharmacy in Stuttgart .

Rauchfuß has lived in Plochingen since 1986 and has been a local councilor there since 1991 and is currently the parliamentary group chairman of the Free Voters' Association . In addition, he has been the deputy honorary mayor of Plochingen since 2007. In 2001 Rauchfuß became president of the Swabian Alb Association , the largest German mountain hiking association. Since 2008 he has also been President of the German Hiking Association . During his tenure in 2010, the German hiking badge awarded by the association was introduced. Rauchfuß is a member of the board of the Baden-Württemberg State Nature Conservation Association .
