Rudolf Heubner

Rudolf Leonhard Heubner (born December 12, 1867 in Plauen , Vogtland , † April 1, 1967 in Hofheim , Lower Franconia ) was a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Rudolf Heubner graduated from high school in Plauen and then began studying German at the University of Leipzig . He switched to law and continued his studies at the universities in Freiburg im Breisgau and Strasbourg . In 1892 he passed the first state examination in law. In the following years he was trainee lawyer in Zwickau and Mittweida , from 1898 assessor in Treuen and Chemnitz . In 1903 he was magistrate in Leipzig , in 1909 he moved to Plauen. In 1913 he married the concert singer Senta Heubner, with whom he had three children. In 1917 he was transferred to the Dresden Higher Regional Court as a judge .

After being in the civil administration of the 1918 occupied Belgium had worked, Rudolf Heubner rose after the First World War to the High Court Judge on. After his retirement he settled as a freelance writer in Dresden-Wachwitz . He went on extensive journeys, which he a. a. to the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, the Danube region and the Middle East . At the end of the 1950s, Heubner moved from Dresden to the Federal Republic. He lived first in Ochsenfurt am Main and finally in a retirement home at Schloss Birnfeld .

Rudolf Heubner published literary works in addition to his judicial work. He was the author of novels, short stories and poems.
