Rugby Bundesliga 1998/99

The 1998/99 rugby Bundesliga is the 28th in its history. The game was initially played in a two-track Bundesliga with the North / East and South / West seasons of six teams each, who played their games in autumn 1998.

The first six teams played in the spring of 1999 in a final round of the German rugby championship. The champions became the German Rugby Club Hanover (DRC Hanover), which prevailed in the two finals against the Rowing Society Heidelberg (RG Heidelberg).
