Rugby Bundesliga 2000/01

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The rugby Bundesliga 2000/01 is the 30th in its history. It was the last season of the two-pronged Bundesliga with a north and a south season. After both groups of six teams each had played their games in autumn 2000, the clubs with places 4 to 6 relegated to the second division.

The first six teams (the numbers are highlighted in the tables) played in a final round of the German rugby championship in spring 2001. The champions were the German Rugby Club Hannover (DRC Hannover), which prevailed in the two finals against SC Neuenheim from Heidelberg.
