The Russian ski jumping championships 2020 were held from February 12th to 19th in Nizhny Tagil on the Tramplin Stork ski jumping facility . The competitions sometimes took place at the same time as the World Cup events. Nevertheless, the entire Russian ski jumping elite was present. The organizer was the Russian Association for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined. Head coach was Yevgeny Plekhov .

The program of the championships includes two individual and one team competition for men and one individual and one team competition for women. In addition, a mixed team competition was held. There was a week between the day of arrival and departure.

Normal hill

The individual competition on the normal hill ( K90 / HS97 ) took place on February 14, 2020. The athletes from St. Petersburg dominated the event. After Anna Schpynjowa was still in the lead after the first round, Lidija Jakowlewa jumped past her with the greatest distance of the day in the second round and became Russian champion. 34 ski jumpers were registered.

The individual jumping from the large hill ( K120 / HS134 ) took place on February 17th, 2020. After qualification, the field of participants was limited to 50 athletes. As expected, Yevgeny Klimov was the Russian champion .

The team competition was supposed to take place on February 18, 2020 on the large hill, but was canceled due to strong winds.

Mixed

The mixed team competition took place on February 15, 2020 on the normal hill ( K90 / HS97 ). 14 teams from eight Russian subnational units were registered. Russian champions became the first team from Moscow Oblast.
