Søby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Båg Herred in the then Odense office , then to the Assens municipality in the Fyns office , which was merged into the "new" Assens municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

The parish has 265 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Søby Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are in the northeast Søllested Sogn , in the southeast Flemløse Sogn , in the southwest Kærum Sogn and in the northwest Gamtofte Sogn .

Søby is located around 190 kilometers west of the capital Copenhagen.
