Årup Kirke

Årup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Odense Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Aarup Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Assens Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 3,223 inhabitants of the former municipalities center Aarup 3223 in the parish Årup (as at 1st January 2020) live. The Årup Kirke church is in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north Rorup Sogn , in the east of Vissenbjerg Sogn , in southern places Sogn and Skydebjerg Sogn and west Kerte Sogn .
