Tommerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Odense Herred in the then Odense office , then to the Tommerup municipality in the Fyns office , which was merged into the Assens municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

2023 residents live in the parish, 1567 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020).

In the parish is the church "Tommerup Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the north Broholm Sogn , in the east Brylle Sogn , in the southwest Verninge Sogn and northwest places Sogn .

The Tommerup transmission tower is the tallest structure in Denmark.
