The tenth South Asian Football Federation Championship , officially South Asian Football Federation Cup in 2013 , was held from 31 August to 11 September 2013 in Nepal.
Eight teams from the South Asian region played for the title of South Asian champions. The champions became Afghanistan for the first time after beating India 2-0 in the final .
venue
Nepal was chosen as the venue for the South Asian Women's Football Championship in Sri Lanka . In addition to the host, 7 other nations from the South Asian region took part in the championship. As the reigning champions of 2011 , India automatically entered the tenth championship.
groups
The eight participating teams were divided into two groups of four teams each. In the group stage, the teams played against each other once in the league system. The group winner and the runner-up reached the semi-finals, the winners of the semi-finals played the final. A game for third place did not take place.
