Sakhar Vadimowitsch Arsamaszew ( Russian Захар Вадимович Арзамасцев ; born November 6, 1992 in Novokuznetsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since May 2020 and plays there in the position of defender .

Career

Sachar Arsamaszew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Metallurg Novokuznetsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Continental Hockey League in the 2009/10 season . In his rookie year , he scored one goal and one assist in 21 games. At the same time he played for Metallurg's junior team in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga and was elected to the all-star team of this league in 2010. Since the 2011/12 season , the defender has played exclusively for the KHL team of Metallurg Novokuznetsk.

In June 2013, Arsamaszew was exchanged for Nikita Loschkin , Yegor Martynow , Rafael Akhmetov and Maxim Sjusjakin from Lokomotive Yaroslavl . However, after four games, he returned to his home club in October 2013.

In January 2014 it was given to HK CSKA Moscow in exchange for financial compensation . At CSKA, however, he was only used four times by the end of the season before he was handed over to Severstal Tscherepowez in May 2014 . After a year in Cherepovets, he left the club and was signed by Salavat Yulayev Ufa . The defender played at Ufa for a total of five years before moving to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the summer of 2020 .

International

For Russia, Arsamaszew took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2010 . During the tournament he prepared three goals in seven games. With the Russian U20 team , he played at the U20 World Cup and won the silver medal with the team.

He made his debut in the men's national team at the Euro Hockey Tour 2016/17.
