Nikita Andrejewitsch Trjamkin ( Russian: Никита Андреевич Трямкин ; English transcription: Nikita Tryamkin ; born August 30, 1994 in Yekaterinburg ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Continental Hockey League since April 2017 .

Career

Nikita Trjamkin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Spartakovets Yekaterinburg, where he was active until 2007. He then moved to the city neighbor Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg , for whose junior team Avto Yekaterinburg he spent the entire 2011/12 season in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . During the 2012/13 season , the defender made his debut in the Continental Hockey League for the professional team of Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg . In his rookie year , he scored three goals and one assist in 32 games. At the same time, he also continued to play for Awto Yekaterinburg in the MHL.

After the end of the 2015/16 KHL season, Trjamkin signed an entry contract in March 2016 with the Vancouver Canucks , who had selected him in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft in 66th position. A little later, the defender made his NHL debut and came to the end of the season on 13 appearances and one goal and one assist.

After his two-year contract in Vancouver had expired, Trjamkin decided to return to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the KHL in April 2017.
